May 10 | Understanding timeframe analysis

Good evening, Traders!   If you follow along as I set up my futures trades (and if you don't, you totally should), you've noticed that timeframe charts play a crucial role in helping us find the direction, price, and entry opportunity in a market.   But a lot of people don't fully understand what a timeframe analysis is and how it works. In reality, they're just snapshots of a market's price movement within a specific time range. And it's those price movements that help us set up a trade.   For example, the monthly timeframe helps us find the overall direction of a market. Is the market in an uptrend or a downtrend? The monthly timeframe answers that question.   The daily timeframe allows us to confirm the high and low prices of a market. Knowing the high and low prices is important to narrow down our buying opportunities.   Finally, the one-hour timeframe is what we used to find the buy zone and how to set up our trade plan to make money in the market!   Timeframes are indispensable tools in our daily trading analysis, especially when the market is making a lot of movement over a short period of time. To learn more about timeframe analysis and how I set up my trades, check out my trading resources!   Keep moving forward!
