Today, 32 other states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical cannabis use. And roughly 60% of Americans now live in a state where medical marijuana is legal. Now, there are arguments to be made that the medical market will be much larger than the adult-use market. And that's because almost everyone has an ailment cannabis can be used to treat. Plus, as the graying of America accelerates, there's a growing pool of patients. So, of the $80 billion the U.S. cannabis market is projected to be worth by 2030, as much as $58 billion may be from medical marijuana. Unfortunately, the endocannabinoid system wasn't discovered until 1992. So there's a lot of education that needs to take place. And that's why I was pleased to have Dr. Theodore Search as my guest. He's chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for cannabis software and metered-dose inhaler company Gofire.
