A     May 11, 2021 Big Tech Update Is Ford really bringing back the Lightning? This video says yes Ford shocked the world Monday when it announced that it is bringing back its iconic Lightning truck. But there is a twist.    The new F-150 Lightning will be an all-electric truck. Ford feels as if the Lightning will set the bar for electric trucks in the United states.   "Every so often, a new vehicle comes along that disrupts the status quo and changes the game … Model T, Mustang, Prius, Model 3. Now comes the F-150 Lightning," said Ford President and CEO Jim Farley.   In addition to the all-electric technology, the Lightning will have a big redesign as well, including a big light bar at the front of the truck. Though most fans are happy the Lightning name is coming back, some are disappointed that Ford chose to bring it back as an electric truck.    So when is Ford set to fully unveil the new vehicle?
