Apr 8, 2021 Big Tech Update Google just announced that its big developer's conference, I/O, will be hosted virtually this year.
The conference will feature keynote speakers focusing on both consumer and developer-focused topics. I/O will also feature online workshops, technical sessions, meetups, and more. The full schedule is yet to be released, but should be published by the end of the month.
Google typically reveals new products, services, and technology, as well as product upgrades during I/O. In 2019 the company announced the Pixel 3A and the Nest Hub Max. Google did not hold an I/O conference in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Rumors are already swirling about what Google will reveal during this year's conference. The company is heavily rumored to preview more Android 12 features during the virtual I/O. Google is already taking registrations for the virtual conference, which is free for anyone to register and attend.
