Jan 8, 2021     White House Watch Trump just made this announcement about the inauguration Image Source: Fox News   President Trump has decided not to attend Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20th. The decision comes after Trump publicly conceded the 2020 election and promised a smooth transition of power.   "To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th," Trump tweeted.   Sources close to the White House say that Mike Pence is likely to attend the inauguration, making him the only representative from the current administration to attend.   If Trump indeed skips the event, he'll be the first sitting president to skip his successor's inauguration since 1869 when Andrew Johnson refused to attend the inauguration of his political rival Ulysses S. Grant.   Of course, Trump could change his mind between now and January 20th, but that seems unlikely. Under the guidance of Governor Cuomo, the state has fined a hospital because it vaccinated first responders without permission from the state.   That's right - a hospital is being punished for doing its job. Wasn't the whole point of getting the vaccine out so quickly was so frontline workers could get it first? The decision is so ridiculous that even NYC Mayor De Blasio is ripping it. The tyrants in power don't want the vaccine to be distributed as soon as possible. They want to control every single aspect of this pandemic, even if it costs lives.
