Despite growing criticism from fellow Democrats, Nancy Pelosi secured her 4th term as Speaker of the House over the weekend.
Longtime Pelosi critics AOC and her fellow Squad members completely caved at the last minute, casting their votes for Pelosi despite public criticism from the group.
In the end, only two Democrats broke ranks and voted for someone other than Nancy Pelosi for the top spot in the House. And she only beat out the Republican's choice by seven votes.
Pelosi has faced renewed scrutiny from her party after Democrats faced surprise defeats in key House races during the 2020 election. Democrats were also frustrated over the breakdown in negotiations over the second stimulus bill, with many placing much of the blame on Nancy Pelosi.
Democrats have shown, yet again, that they're all talk and no action. When push comes to shove, they'll abandon their convictions for the sake of political gain.

A Bronx bus driver was violently attacked on her route during New Year's Day. But thanks to one of her passengers, Charline Alston survived the ordeal.

When Alston refused to open the door, the man smashed in the driver's side window and attacked Alston. But a passenger saw the attack and jumped into action.
Thanks to Yomboue Pierre Bama, the attacker was held until police arrived on the scene. Alston is beyond thankful for Bama's actions. Be sure to check out the rest of this amazing story!
