Empower Your Trading
With Fundamental News
Happy New Year and welcome back! In an effort to start 2021 nice and easy, we thought we could cover one of the simplest ways that investors can determine future trading opportunities.

Fundamental trading news plays a key role when trading the markets.

The aim of trading on fundamental news is to give a thorough (and most times eye-opening) analysis to forex traders by researching the news and economic statistics. Not to be confused with trading the news based on rumors, fundamentalists pay attention to economic changes like interest rates, employment rates and inflation.

No 'Goldilocks Gridlock':
The Stock Market After Georgia
We're kicking off 2021 with some big news, guys — there won't be a "Goldilocks gridlock" on Wall Street after all following the Georgia Senate runoff. So what does the stock market look like after the Democrats' Georgia Senate sweep?

Over the past few months, gridlock has been the expectation. Since November's presidential election, we've been pricing in a "Goldilocks gridlock," and it all came down to Georgia. Gridlock is thought to be best for business...

But as 2020 showed us: No one knows what's going to happen.

Now, two branches of the federal government are turning blue.

The Democrats won the Senate runoff and the stock market is trying to correct itself.

Everything I'm hearing about the stock market after Georgia is all speculation — stimulus, higher taxes and long-term gains.

So what does it all mean?

Today, I'm going to dive in and share what is valid and what is just a short-term overreaction.

The Average True Range (ATR) is a technical analysis indicator that measures volatility by decomposing the entire range of an asset price for that period. Simply put, a stock experiencing a high level of volatility has a higher ATR, and a low volatility stock has a lower ATR. The ATR may be used by traders to enter and exit trades, and it is a useful tool to add to a trading system. It was created to allow traders to more accurately measure the daily volatility of an asset by using simple calculations. The indicator does not indicate the price direction; rather it is used primarily to measure volatility.
