The president sent the bill back to Congress outlining wasteful spending that needed to be cut. Thanks to a little-known law passed in 1974, the president can sign a budgetary package while requesting changes to specific line items.   While Congress can choose to override Trump's rescission request, it would force many lawmakers to publicly support the massive spending projects outlined in the bill. Many Americans across the political spectrum have criticized Congress for the ridiculous amount of pork in the stimulus package.   No matter how Congress decides to act, Trump can score some serious points with this move. Liberal Spin Control This is CNN throwing itself a pity party Image Source: The Daily Wire   Over the weekend, a bunch of self-aggrandizing journalists got together and threw themselves a pity party on TV over the hardships they faced during the Trump administration.   While every legitimate news agency was covering the Nashville bombing, CNN was lamenting how their feelings were hurt multiple times while covering the Trump White House.   We once had journalists who embedded with our troops in the middle of armed conflicts. They didn't whine or complain. Now, the mainstream media is filled with overly-sensitive reporters that think too much of themselves.   Thankfully, the ridiculous segment was ripped to shreds all across Twitter.
