In a city with one of the highest crime rates nationwide, the police are keeping their efforts focused on the real issues at hand--hair salons opening their doors.
Stockton, California, just recorded its 53rd shooting of 2020, but just before Christmas day, the police dealt with the biggest threat...Pomp Salon. They raided the business last week because the salon was operating despite Governor Newsom's orders to shut down.
"About five armed state police officers burst into our salon shouting drop everything you're doing. Stop, you're being shut down," said Vicki Kirk, who co-owns the space. "I just want to earn a living and we all want to do it safely. We have strict safety protocols hers, and we will continue to do so."

Image Source: Daily Caller Though Dr. Anthony Fauci initially predicted that life would return to normal before July 4, he is now saying we won't reach "some form of normality" until autumn.
So, what's the deal with the change?
"Well, if you look at the logistics of it...right now, we are going through the priority groups," he said during an interview. "Once you get there, what I call open season, namely when anybody who is anybody, you don't have to be a priority person, should get vaccinated. I think we are going to get there probably end of March, beginning of April."
So, where does that leave us? When can expect things to return to normal, for real?
