Biden is considering a last-minute Republican pick Image Source: Getty Images When it comes to filling his commerce secretary position, Joe Biden is considering a Republican, though no names have been floated yet, and who knows if the pick will be conservative.    According to an Axios tweet: "Joe Biden is considering some well-known Republicans for commerce secretary as a way to signal to red-state Americans he understands their concerns and plans to address them."   In his most recent nomination, Biden selected Pete Buttigieg to be his transportation secretary. He'd also said earlier this year that he would tap Beto O'Rourke to lead gun control policies for his administration, though there have been no updates since then.    And he hasn't selected any conservatives so far.
