Now, let's dig in! Image Source: Getty Images It looks like the year will end on a positive note for the markets. After record-breaking gains last month, the Dow today continued its upward momentum, increasing .9%, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite each increased 1.4%.
Today's gains were fueled in part by a bipartisan stimulus package that was released.
Said Global Wealth Management's Mark Haefele: "Investors have focused...on the potential for a return to normal social and economic activity based on the widespread rollout of effective vaccines in the first half of 2021."
It was the uplifting vaccine news that bolstered the market last month, which saw the Dow increase nearly 12%.
Still, Joe Biden's Treasury secretary nominee, Janet Yellen, said how "essential [it is] that we move with urgency. Inaction will produce a self-reinforcing downturn, causing yet more devastation."
What else should you know about what happened in the stock market today?
Other Hot Market News... You won't see these stunning details from the mainstream media
Image Source: Time Magazine As shocking as the censorship was in this election, at least as a Conservative (and thanks to the "underground media") you knew it was happening. You knew what they were trying to hide - even if you had to go looking for it.
But stop for a moment and think about all of the people who were out there this election cycle that had absolutely no idea what they didn't know about Joe Biden.
Which is why the very thought of social media taking over the news cycle is a terrifying one to me!
The Media Research Center teamed up with The Polling Company and conducted a survey among 1,750 Biden voters from seven key swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
In the survey, they were asked about their knowledge of eight news stories.
And the vast majority of them - a whopping 82% - were totally clueless about at least one of those stories.
And one out of six of them said if they'd known when they voted, they'd have abandoned Team Biden.
And it was the worst among those primarily consuming their "news" via social media.
