Good morning. Greece joined the international community of countries issuing negative-yielding bonds. The country sold €487.5 million in 13-week bills with a yield of -0.02 percent. This comes 8 years after the country's short-term debt yield as high as 10 percent on the back of a financial crisis that nearly brought the Eurozone to financial collapse.

There's really only one question that matters: Is Greece really an economy healthier than the United States, or is the push to negative-yielding bonds an uncharted monetary experiment with unknown, but likely dire, results? Either way, investors should already know to beware Greeks bearing bonds.

It's the holiday season, that last six weeks of the year, which puts these operations in the green for all 52-weeks.

Quote of the Day
Mr. Trump's recent impeachment risk has turned the timetable against him. While China is not eager to reach a trade deal, Mr. Trump is, however, under pressure to get at least a temporary deal done to help his re-election bid before his impeachment risk rises and the U.S. economy weakens further.
