High IQ hurts your trading

Dear Trader,

Most people think that successful traders are all really smart.

Like high IQ smart.

I am talking about an IQ of 160 or higher ... genius level.

According to Warren Buffet, that's not true at all.

In fact, he said that "You don't need to be a rocket scientist. Investing is not a game where the guy with the 160 IQ beats the guy with a 130 IQ. Rationality is essential".

A lot of people with crazy high IQs are terrible at this game because they've got terrible temperaments.

And for those with an IQ of 160, Buffet's suggestion is to "give away 30 points to somebody else" because "you don't need a lot of brains to be in this business".

What you do need in trading is the emotional stability to hone in on a few critical skills and do them well.

Check out this IQ 130 options strategy

Because this strategy uses hard data (vs. gut feel), it is a rational approach that removes emotions from our decision-making process.

Join Matt Choi, CMT online this week where he will take you through the entire strategy from A to Z.

After attending the class, you'll be able to put on the trade the next day.

And guess what ... it doesn't require 160 IQ either!
