A February 13, 2021 Big Tech Update This is what we know about the new Asus dual-screen laptop Facebook is reportedly working on a new smartwatch that is meant to directly compete with the Apple Watch.   The new device is expected to have messaging and fitness features among other capabilities. Early reports indicate that the Facebook smartwatch will be an Android-based device. It's unclear if the watch will run on Google's Wear OS or another operating system.  Rumors suggest that Facebook is working on its own operating system, but it may not be ready in time for the initial smartwatch launch. The rumored smartwatch falls nicely in line with Facebook's latest projects such as smart glasses and AR headsets. When can you expect the new smartwatch to hit store shelves?
