December 16, 2020 Market News The latest info on the last SpaceX launch of 2020 SpaceX has hit some significant milestones this year, with the first crewed flight of a commercial rocket company to its interstellar Starship prototype's explosive debut. But the company plans to end the year with one more important launch. Just in time for the holidays, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will ferry a spy satellite to space for the National Reconnaissance Office from the launch center at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. We don't know much about this particular launch, given the cargo's classified nature, but we do know this is the sixth launch for the NRO. The launch, scheduled for Thursday between 9 AM and noon ET, is expected to be live-streamed by SpaceX. The weather forecast is currently favorable for a successful mission.
